Assembly

Assembly is named on EFI's IATF 16949 registered scope - assembled components are a certified output, not an informal extra.

05  Value add

Molded components built up into finished assemblies, at brand volume or startup volume.

EFI handles product assembly for customers producing millions of units a year and for startups running smaller quantities, with the same process discipline applied either way.

Taking assembly at the molder removes a handoff: parts do not ship out to be built up somewhere else and shipped back, and the company responsible for the components is the company responsible for the finished assembly.

Operator building up a multi-component sub-assembly in a fixture, with hardware bins alongside.

ADVANTAGES
